Nomadic Birding

Hi, we're Chris & Adrienne

Full-time travelers, birding from the road.

We're full-time travelers who bird wherever the road takes us — campgrounds, county parks, wildlife refuges, the odd gas-station parking lot with a surprising warbler in the hedge. We also run Nomadic Birding, a Facebook community for other RVers and van-lifers who bird from the road.

We started offering free walks because pulling into a new campground and not knowing where to look is the single most common thing we hear from other travelers — birders and non-birders alike. If we're parked near you and have a walk posted, come along.

How we bird

We follow the ABA Code of Birding Ethics — no baiting, no playback near nesting birds, respect for private property and other people enjoying the outdoors. See the waiver for the full rundown before joining a walk.
